It is a huge mistake to marry because of love.
The mistake most people make is getting married because they think they have found the right one.
There is no such thing as the “right one”… there are many right ones for you. You just have to position yourself to attract them.
The best time to start thinking about marriage is after you have secured a good source of income that can sustain at least three people.
I said three people because no one knows when the baby will decide to show up.
Yeah, I know you feel contraceptives are made for such things, but I can tell you for free, it can fail.
If it fails, you need to be ready for your bundle of joy so it doesn’t become a bundle of pain!
The inability to provide for the baby’s needs alone can shatter the love you share.
You don’t want that.
Back to getting ready before saying hello to the miss.
It is very important that as a man, you can at least be able to cover rent, put food on the table, and give her a good life before popping the question.
Why Is This Very Important?
It is because this love you think you both share now will disappear the moment the challenges of life start banging on your front door.
Nothing strangles love in marriage as financial stress…it kills love like sharks crush it prey.
Love needs a good environment to grow.
Financial stress begets wife battering, jealousy, and eventually hatred.
You don’t want to be in the situation of asking, “Where did the love we once shared go?”.
To prevent this nightmare, first secure the bag before the bride.
If she loves you and wants to spend the rest of her life with you, she should wait and support you while you build the dream life for both of you.
If she can’t wait or thinks there are men more ready than out there, please let her go. She is not the only fish in the river.
Work on yourself.
When you are ready, look for the lady who shares the same life goals with you and put a ring on her finger.
